Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking a Lead Teacher in Washington state to lead, mentor, and deliver our curriculum while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with families and collaborate with staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires CDA credential or candidacy, an ECE degree or willingness to obtain, CPR/First Aid, and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $22.95 - $26.10 Hourly
