Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, deliver the company curriculum, and foster a safe, welcoming classroom for children. You will partner with parents to ensure top-quality care and learning experiences in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.

• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
• Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Range of pay $16.70 - $21.75 Hourly
