Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Banks, Oregon, is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, model best practices, and implement our curriculum to meet each child's needs. You will partner with families, mentor less-experienced teachers, and contribute to center goals around enrollment and accreditation, while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.

A CDA or NAEYC candidacy and 2–3 years of ECE experience are preferred, with a Bachelor's in ECE encouraged; CPR/First Aid certification

When you join our team as a Lead Teacher you will:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
  • Possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
  • Approved state trainer (preferred)
  • 2-3 years Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors
  • Be able to make physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
  • Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
