Job summary

La Petite Academy in Virginia is hiring a Lead Teacher to oversee classroom learning experiences and mentor other teachers. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class and lead curriculum implementation in line with licensing guidelines.

We seek energetic, dependable individuals who are at least 18 and can meet state education requirements and childcare center standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Must meet state requirements for education and childcare center standards.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children in physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.

• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure licensing guidelines and company standards are followed.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:
