Job summary

Qualifications

• 90 hours infant or pre-school MSDE Qualification as a Lead Teacher.
• Experience teaching in a day care center.
• Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to meet MSDE childcare Regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Plan a loving learning environment in the classroom and facilitate a curriculum that meets school standards.
• Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills.
• Prepare any necessary learning materials.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues and families.
• Take attendance.
