Job summary

Learning Care Group in Hampton, Virginia is seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to create enriching learning experiences for preschool children. You will mentor fellow educators while ensuring the social, physical, and intellectual development of each child in your classroom.

The ideal candidate is energetic and dependable, with experience in classroom leadership, lesson planning, and fostering positive relationships with families. This position offers flexible schedules and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors, engaging physically with children.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun,interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool childreninyour class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead onclassroom managementand curriculum implementation,plusbe an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
