Job summary

Ladybug & Friends Daycare and Preschool in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Lead Teacher to provide nurturing care for children 6 weeks to 5 years, lead classroom activities, and ensure DCFS compliance. The role requires at least 60 college hours and 6 in ECE, plus 1+ year in a licensed daycare toddler classroom.

Pay $18.00–$20.00 hourly, full-time with benefits including 401(k), health coverage, and paid holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties for an LEAD TEACHER

• Follow DCFS regulations and LFDP policies and procedures
• Follow LFDP curriculum guidelines
• Model positive and respectful behavior
• Maintain open communication to Parents
• Work cooperatively and effectively with colleagues
• Professional Development hours (20 hours annually)
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by director
