Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teacher for a full-time, on-site role in Champaign, IL.

The position involves leading a classroom, mentoring other teachers, and implementing curriculum in alignment with licensing guidelines and company standards. You will foster the social, physical, and intellectual development of preschoolers, build relationships with families, and promote a positive center environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
  • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
  • Care for preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth in your class.
  • Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
  • Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and center's success.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individualswhoare at least 18 andhave:

  • Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
  • The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
  • The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation range of $18.50 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
  • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
  • Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and childcare discount available to all employees
  • Monday-Friday work week
