Job summary

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office seeks a Technology Solution Architect to lead enterprise web applications architecture and deliver resilient, secure solutions. You will work with stakeholders to define roadmaps and drive architecture decisions across delivery and DevOps teams.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture with hands-on C#, .NET Core, Azure, and microservices, in a hybrid US tax context. Travel up to 10% is possible; sponsorship may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of architecture design and implementation experience including hands-on C#, SQL Server, OOPS concepts, and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core Web API, SQL, NoSQL, Rest APIs, microservices, Azure, Design Patterns, and Agile.
• Experience with distributed computing and Azure cloud services.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and ability to work in a hybrid model.
• Potential for immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Understand business challenges, evaluate requirements, and define architecture options and a technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with Architecture team to design and improve architectures for resiliency and performance.
• Make high-level design choices for software structure, frameworks, and algorithms.
• Support the team in implementing complex business logic and algorithms.
• Plan and execute software development projects, participate in SCRUM, and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure compliance.
• Establish standards, guidelines, and metrics to deliver value quickly and efficiently.
• Coordinate with delivery teams and vendors to maintain code quality and automation.
• Identify and mitigate product-related risks and collaborate with DevOps for deployment.
• Provide code reviews and coach team on best practices and tools.
• Develop and maintain architecture documentation.
