Job summary

SoFi is seeking an experienced Tax Information Reporting & Withholding (IRW) Advisor to lead global tax compliance, reporting, and withholding processes. You will serve as the subject matter expert on domestic and international information reporting, and work with cross-functional teams to minimize risk and optimize tax workflows.

The role requires deep knowledge of Form 1099, 1042‑S, FATCA, CRS, OECD CRS, and withholding regimes, with a focus on Digits Assets reporting and cross-border

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications preferred.
• Experience with Form 1099, 1042-S, FATCA, CRS, and withholding.
• Ability to translate tax rules into operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on US IRW rules and global reporting frameworks (FATCA, CRS).
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tech and Operations to ensure compliance.
• Oversee documentation for tax forms (W-9, W-8) and withholding calculations.
