Job summary

Node is seeking a Software Developer (Systems Software) in Chantilly, VA. This lead role supports an integrated IT enterprise model to enhance learning, training compliance, language development, retention, and job postings.

Active TS/SCI FS Poly is required, with high-visibility responsibilities and strategic IT delivery across services. The position involves developing, integrating, and maintaining enterprise software, cloud-based components, and SAM/IT documentation, while guiding a team

Qualifications

• Experience leading on a team providing technical expertise and sponsor communications.
• Proven ability to implement industry best practices with accessibility and agile methods.
• Experience proposing business-value improvements focused on UX/UI, delivery speed, and modernization.
• Experience documenting web-based components and interfaces, incl. APIs and databases.
• Experience in Java development and cloud environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow and full accreditation lifecycle.
• Experience managing Tier 1–3 support and service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering technical solutions and clear communications to the Sponsor.
• Propose and implement best practices to improve UX/UI and delivery quality.
• Develop and maintain enterprise software and related documentation across the lifecycle.
