Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Systems Instrumentation Engineer to support the 96 Range Support Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. You will provide technical guidance for modernization of range instrumentation and ensure integration across the government team throughout the lifecycle.

Required are a Master’s degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance. The role includes travel to the Eglin range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and assistance for range instrumentation acquisition efforts.
• Contribute to acquisition documentation and test plans.
• Assist in development of pre-proposal source selection documents.
• Support installation of telemetry systems and datalink equipment.
• Coordinate Airborne to terrestrial satellite communications and TSPI tracking radar instrumentation.
