Job summary

Peraton seeks an experienced Technical Task Order Lead to oversee all engineering, technical, and programmatic activities within a high-visibility government task order. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with the PMO, and ensure the delivery of complex capabilities in support of mission objectives.

The role combines Systems Engineering leadership with Scrum Master duties in an Agile environment, requiring cloud experience and the ability to brief government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of SE experience on large programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading Systems Engineering efforts and doing architectural work.
• DoDAF architectural viewpoint development and lifecycle trade analysis.
• Ability to provide technical direction across hardware/software systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Systems Engineering lead for the Agile development team.
• Provide Scrum Master support, facilitating ceremonies and removing impediments.
• Utilize AWS or similar cloud platforms for architecture and migration tasks.
• Ensure cross-disciplinary integration meets government requirements.
• Brief government leadership on progress, risks, and milestones.
• Identify risks and oversee mitigation strategies to maintain schedule.
• Mentor junior system engineers and provide backup technical support.
• Lead all TTO engineering and technical activities aligned with contracts.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of TTO staff.
• Deliver status updates to PMO and maintain required reporting.
