Mammotome, a Danaher operating company in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a Staff Engineer, Systems to provide technical leadership across the design, development, integration, and validation of complex medical device hardware and software systems. You will guide requirements, risk, usability, verification, and regulatory compliance for cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including ≥5 years in systems engineering within medical devices.
• Experience with requirements management, system architecture, risk analysis, usability engineering, and verification/validation.
• Ability to translate inputs from customers, clinics, business and regulators into system-level requirements.
• Experience providing technical direction to cross-functional teams and resolving complex issues.

Responsabilités

• Lead system-level design, product risk management, usability engineering, verification and validation activities.
• Provide systems engineering leadership across product development, manufacturing readiness, regulatory submissions, and lifecycle management.
• Translate stakeholder inputs into architectures and verification strategies.
• Mentor engineers and advance systems engineering tools, processes and best practices.
• Support project planning, resources, and technical decision-making.
