Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA, an engineering company with 3,000+ experts in North America, seeks a Systems Engineer (manipulations) to design, develop, and validate advanced robotic arm systems. You will drive SE activities across mechanical, electrical, and software interfaces and define system architectures and requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of SE experience with electro‑mechanical devices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a technical college or university in an Engineering field.
• 5+ years of System Engineering experience and electro‑mechanical device experience (robotics is a plus)
• Experience with system documentation including Trade Studies, interface control documents, and ConOps
• Experience tailoring system engineering processes to balance level of SE effort to product/system needs
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, agile environment.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product development from concept through deployment.
• Make informed technical decisions and recommendations in a rapidly evolving environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering documentation, processes, and product quality.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job‑related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
