Blu Omega is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support a high-visibility cryptographic modernization program. This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for enterprise-level architecture, policy, modernization planning, and senior advisory support. The position requires experience supporting mission-critical systems within a government or national security context.
This program focuses on supporting the Department of War’s migration toward post-quantum cryptography, influencing cryptographic priorities across portfolios, platforms, and networks. It involves strategic systems engineering, policy development, and cross-organizational coordination with agencies such as DISA, NSA, USCYBERCOM, and OSD.
Location: Washington, DC / Hybrid (up to 3 days onsite per week)
Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance Required
Pay Range: $180,000-230,000
Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
