Job summary

Hologic, Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to own system-level definitions, architecture, and verification for capital hardware equipment.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams across hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing to deliver robust, compliant solutions throughout the product lifecycle. You will drive requirements flow-down, provide technical leadership, and mentor junior engineers while supporting regulatory submissions and audits as the system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or equivalent multi-disciplinary engineering role.
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technical projects or products.
• Hands-on experience with requirements management, system architecture, and system integration/verification.

Responsibilities

• Own system definition, architecture, and interfaces based on customer, business, and regulatory needs.
• Lead cross-functional technical reviews and drive closure of actions and risks.
• Plan and lead system integration activities, including test strategy, plans, and execution.
• Coordinate system verification/validation to ensure compliance and fitness for use.
• Identify, track, and mitigate technical risks; support risk management activities.
• Collaborate with product management/marketing to translate customer needs into system capabilities.
