Qualifications

3+ years of managing system or software development teams experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development life cycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
5+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of SDEs and Systems Development Engineers; provide mentorship and career development
Manage the full development lifecycle from proof-of-concept through production deployment, including pilot design, success metrics, security reviews, and scaled rollout
Raise the technical bar by establishing engineering best practices, code review standards, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence mechanisms for AI/ML systems
Communicate effectively with senior leadership on strategy, progress, risks, and business impact through mechanisms like MBRs, sprint reviews, and roadmap presentations
