Raytheon seeks a Principal Systems Administrator Lead for 100% onsite work in Tucson, AZ. The role demands an active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will support secure IT infrastructure, spanning Windows and Red Hat Linux environments, with responsibilities across security compliance and end-to-end system solutions. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with extensive experience or a master’s with fewer years, and will involve collaboration with Cybersecurity to meet DoD

Qualifications

• Active Secret U.S. government clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Typically requires bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 3 years of experience.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux environments including server, DNS, DHCP, and AD.
• Experience with MECM, VMware, and recovery enterprise suites.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training.
• Define computing requirements and create end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions for classified programs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across classified programs.
• Work in a 24x7 operational environment, with potential after-hours when needed.
• Travel to other US domestic locations as needed (approx. 5% of the time).
