Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Lead System Analyst to join as a remote, US-based team member. You will analyze business needs, design software solutions, and lead testing and deployment activities across IT systems and vendors.

The role requires Salesforce Admin experience, cloud/integration skills, and strong communication with stakeholders. A broad set of tools and SDLC know-how will help drive successful implementations and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8-10 years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience.
  • 4+ years Salesforce.com Sales and Service Cloud admin and configuration
  • Customer Service Tools (Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc…)
  • Telephony Tools (Five9, Vonage, etc…) with CTI
  • Jira or MS DevOps
  • Integration Technologies (Azure Integration Services)
  • Infrastructure technologies including cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS
  • Web/Mobile Technologies
  • Ability to tie together solutions across systems
  • Prototyping
  • Requirements definition & management
  • System Performance management
  • Understanding of future technologies
  • Oral & written communications

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business needs and lead the creation of software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepare flow charts, BPM workflows, and systems diagrams to aid problem analysis through the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare design documentation ensuring functional and technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Design and document software/solutions according to IT standards and procedures.
  • Lead testing activities and provide guidance on configuration and coding.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to verify system changes meet project specs and assist in user acceptance testing.
  • Provide technical assistance to resolve incidents or issues.
  • Monitor execution plan and report deviations in budget or timeline.
  • Integrate new products with existing IT landscape.
  • Review and resolve issues during implementation.
  • Develop operating procedures and user manuals for transition to operations.
  • Build knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domains.
  • Coordinate with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other stakeholders for smooth deployment.
  • Capture tacit knowledge for vendors and knowledge bases.
  • Work with outside partners to meet requirements.
  • Perform admin duties for user groups as needed.

The Job:

As a Lead System Analyst, you’ll be part of our team working as a remote employee. You’ll get to:

  • Analyze business needs and leads the creation of software solutionsthat meetthose needs.
  • Prepare flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, andsystems diagrams to assist in problem analysis thorough the project lifecycle
  • Responsible for preparing design documentationand ensuring that functional and technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Designs,and documents software/solutionaccording to SBD-IT systems standards, policies and procedures.
  • Leads and reviews necessary testing activities and provide guidance on configuration and codingwhen needed
  • Works with business stakeholders and user groups to select or create appropriate scenarios to determine whether system changes met project specifications; assists end users in acceptance testing
  • Provides technical assistance where needed to ensure timely resolution of incidentsor issues.
  • Ensures execution plan is on track and reports any major deviations in budget ortimeline
  • Effectively plans and integrates new products with the existing IT landscape
  • Review, guide, troubleshoot and resolve contentious issues escalated duringimplementation
  • Leads the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routineoperations
  • Enablebuilding of knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domain areas
  • Leads tasks with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release managementand other relevant stakeholders to enable a smooth deployment
  • Continuously works on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors andknowledge management systems
  • Works with outside partners and vendors to ensure SBD requirements are met
  • Performs various admin duties for user groups as needed

The Salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $144,900.00
