Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews on conventional, robotic and GPS surveying projects. The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to travel to off-site assignments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of land surveying experience, an associate degree in surveying/geomatics or related field, and familiarity with Excel, CAD, Trimble software and GPS equipment. SIT/PLS is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of surveying experience
• Associate’s degree in surveying/geomatics, civil engineering, or related field preferred
• SIT or PLS preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Excel, navigational programs, CAD programs and Trimble Business Center preferred
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers and robotic total stations considered a plus
• DOT and route survey experience considered a plus

Responsibilities

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Supervise field crews during conventional, robotic and GPS land surveying projects
• Ability to travel out of town on assignments
