Job summary

Qualifications

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CSA or CST certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments.
• Scrub in and support surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries while maintaining a sterile field.
• Mentor and train surgical technologists, modeling best practices for the team.
• Oversee quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and infection prevention standards.
• Drive teamwork and efficiency through clear communication and support for on‑call cases.
