Job summary

BETA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to partner with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues with supplied components, mentoring and leading supplier quality engineers while collaborating with suppliers.

You will focus on RCCA, supplier audits, first article inspection reviews, and ongoing supplier development to improve performance across CX300 and A250 structures, while supporting a vibrant, inclusive team in Vermont.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or related field.
• Three to five years of industry experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or SAE AS9100 in manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail; bias for action; analytical thinking.
• Experience with statistical methods.
• Experience using an online ERP system and Microsoft Office or Google apps.
• ASQ certification or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be focal for supplier quality issues with CX300 and A250 structures.
• Track receiving inspection problems and coordinate RCCA.
• Lead problem resolution between Beta team members and suppliers.
• Review and action supplier KPIs; develop improvement plans.
• Assist supplier audits and review First Article Inspection reports.
• Analyze supplier non-conformances and drive supplier development.
• Issue and review supplier corrective action requests and responses.
