Bureau of Economic Analysis in Suitland, MD seeks a Supervisory Accountant (Band 5/GS-15) to lead IT systems supporting survey processing and economic statistics production. This permanent, full-time role requires strong accounting expertise and supervisory leadership within the Direct Investment Division.

Eligible for telework with a full-time schedule in the Washington, DC area. This position is a competitive federal appointment with federal benefits and a GS pay band aligned to ZA 5.

Competenze

• Degree/combination required: accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting (up to 6 hours of business law).
• Four years accounting experience may be substituted with professional credentials (CPA or CIA) or equivalent education/training.

Mansioni

• Manages operations, maintenance, and development of IT systems used for survey processing and statistical production.
• Manages implementation of survey methodology and statistical techniques in producing quality economic statistics.
• Oversees personnel, budget, and physical resources of the Operations, Systems, and Analysis Branch.

Formazione

Accounting degree with 24 semester hours in accounting
