Job summary

Touro University in New York seeks a part-time Supervising Psychologist for the Psychoeducational Assessment Center. You will lead clinical operations, supervise trainees, and ensure high-quality evaluations across pediatric to young adult populations.

Responsibilities include overseeing intake, coordinating testing, and ensuring compliance with APA, HIPAA, and FERPA standards. PhD/PsyD in psychology and NY license required; 19 hours/week with potential evening hours.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or closely related field from an accredited program.
• Experience with psychoeducational and psychological assessments.
• Experience supervising graduate students, practicum students, interns, or other trainees.
• Excellent psychological report writing and clinical documentation.
• Five+ years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and operational oversight of the Psychoeducational Assessment Center.
• Supervise graduate assistants, trainees, practicum students, and other staff.
• Review referrals and determine service appropriateness; assign cases to trainees.
• Provide individual and group supervision on assessment administration, scoring, interpretation, and reports.
• Review and approve assessment reports prior to release; ensure adherence to APA/HIPAA/FERPA and licensing standards.
• Oversee intake, scheduling workflows, and client communication for efficient service delivery.
• Develop and maintain assessment protocols, policies, and quality assurance measures.
• Maintain secure handling of testing materials and standardized administration.
• Collaborate with faculty, schools, and healthcare professionals; participate in training PsyD students.
