We are looking for a Lead Superintendent for commercial construction projects to provide leadership to all trades and in all phases of the project.

The ideal applicant will have experience managing all trades, experience with large complex projects, be highly organized, be able to ensure high quality and high safety standards, and will be proactive.

Responsibilities include:

1. Willingness to maintain and support a strong jobsite safety culture
2. Predict hazards and write and implement safety plans, reports, and statistics
3. Train and mentor other superintendents fostering a positive and successful superintendent team while monitoring engagement, work conditions, and employee satisfaction of all labor
4. Manage trade coordination and moderate disagreements
5. Motivate staff for optimal performance, collaboration, and teamwork
6. Conduct start-up surveys, meetings, and partnering sessions
7. Exemplify a commitment to quality in all aspects of the project plan
8. Devise schedules for trade use and team meetings
9. Assure accuracy and completion of daily reports
10. Ensure contract requirements are met
11. Organize timely completion of paperwork and reports
12. Monitor performance and budget
13. Represent WarrenBuilds in a professional manner
14. Assign responsibilities to team members
15. Monitor safety statistics and accident reports
16. Review and analyze contractor quality plans
17. Manage work corrections
18. Monitor progress and ensure timely deliverables
19. Review bids for compliance with the scope
20. Review vendor drawings and submittals
21. Prepare and distribute daily reports
22. Prioritize and effectively manage time
23. Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, and key team members
24. Coordinate required inspections with local authorities

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent supervising larger more complex projects
• Construction coursework and/or a related degree is helpful but we value your field expertise
• OSHA 30 certification
• Comfortable reviewing details with contractors
• Demonstrated comprehension of safety plans
• Understanding of construction operations and processes
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment
• Software savvy – MS Office; familiar with construction and project management software programs such as Procore and Bluebeam
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation and management skills
• Must be able to travel to the job sites
• Must have field experience
