Job summary

Oil States International, Inc. is seeking a Lead Specialty Instrument Fitter (NLDSIFT) in Houston, TX. The role supports the fabrication, assembly and inspection of specialty instruments, ensuring adherence to project management plans, safety standards and production schedules across Houston and offsite locations.

The successful candidate will read schematics, bend tubing, oversee QA checkpoints, and coordinate with engineering, clients and vendors. Travel may be required for project support.

Qualifications

• High School / GED preferred.
• 5+ years of Subsea or Space experience.
• Ability to travel on short notice.
• Written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Self-motivated with high initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Assurance plan and follow Quality Check Points.
• Read and interpret schematics and assembly drawings.
• Bend tubing and fabricate components per project plans.
• Operate cranes or forklifts as needed and assist welding teams.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure on-time project delivery.
