Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Structural Section Manager for the Austin, TX area. The role reports to the Structural Department Manager and provides technical and administrative supervision to meet design and schedule targets.

You will coordinate priorities, staffing, budgets, and staff assignments while ensuring compliance with professional standards and designs for substations and transmission line structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in the discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily supervision of the Structural Section members.
• Assigns and coordinates project priorities, workload planning, staffing schedules and assignments.
• Monitors direct/indirect labor utilization and ensures resource loading calendars are completed on time.
• Oversees quality control of work and adherence to standards, procedures and policies.
• Contributes to hiring decisions and staff development within the section.
• Supports project managers in business development and marketing activities.
• Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
