Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a Structural Steel Ironworker Foreman to lead on-site teams, plan manpower and equipment, and ensure safety and productivity to meet project schedules.

Strong knowledge of rigging, signaling, and applicable codes is required, along with clear English communication and the ability to work collaboratively with crews and managers. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in read specs and blueprints, and coordination with safety, quality, scheduling, and production crews

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and understand English (oral and written).
• Knowledge of proper rigging and signaling.
• Familiarity with transit, laser level, torpedo, torque guns and welders.
• Knowledge of AISC.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety precautions are followed
• Complete jobs on time and within budget
• Hold a documented site safety meeting weekly
• Complete a 3-week look-a-head schedule weekly
• Attend on-site project meetings (safety, quality, scheduling, production)
• Issue corrective action notices as required to enforce policies
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine material locations, quantities, and sizes
