Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Senior Technician to anchor our largest placements and special inspection scopes, including structural concrete, deep foundations, masonry, and steel.

You will lead pours, mentor junior technicians, interface with engineers and building officials, and own the quality of the record on projects where the stakes are real. You will also travel for defined project programs and help ensure compliance with IBC and related standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CMT or special inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete or Soils, NICET Level II+ or ACI certifications.
• Willing to travel for defined project programs.
• Owns testing records and documentation on projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead fresh-concrete testing and special inspection on structural work.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with engineers and officials.
• Document testing results and maintain the project record.
• Coordinate daily with superintendents and engineers.
• Travel on defined project programs as needed.
