Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in structural design and analysis.
- Experience with design and analysis of power plant structures is valued.
- PE or SE license is valued but not required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of structural engineers and guide less experienced members.
- Prepare and review design calculations and develop specifications.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames and foundations.
Skills
Proficiency with structural analysis software
Good written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of design codes and standards
Education
BS degree in Civil Engineering
MSCE degree (valued but not required)
