Job summary

HDR, Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer with 5 to 15 years of experience to join our Denver team. You will collaborate on diverse projects, influencing decisions on cost and sustainability while leading a multi-discipline design team.

The ideal candidate will be a BA in Civil or Structural Engineering and possess a PE license. A comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and a competitive salary range of $86,471 - $123,530.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural engineering including concrete, steel, wood/timber, and masonry design.
• Experience with the International Building Code and referenced standards.
• Experience in heavy snow loads, seismic design and high wind regions.
• Experience with structural analysis, finite element, and BIM software.
• Commitment to technical excellence and client service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design of buildings and civil structures.
• Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control reviews.
• Assist in project pursuits, prepare specifications and drawings.
• Serve projects during construction with site visits and contractor reviews.
• Participate in team meetings and design workshops.
