Job summary

SAAB in West Lafayette, IN, is seeking a Lead Stress/MRB Engineer to support the T-7A Redhawk military trainer aircraft production. You will ensure engineering specifications are met during manufacturing and facilitate teamwork across various departments.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and at least 8 years in Aerospace Stress engineering. Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k), and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in an Aerospace Stress engineering role.
• Proficiency in analysis of metallic and composite airframe structure.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform static and DaDT structural analyses of airframe structures.
• Develop designs meeting program requirements for cost and quality.
• Monitor production processes to identify design or manufacturing risks.
