MoonPay is seeking a Lead, Strategy & Corporate Development to partner with the SVP of Strategy and Investments Development, translating priorities into actionable plans and driving high-impact initiatives across the company.

The role blends strategy, business operations, and corporate development, requiring a strong operator mindset to move from complex problems to concrete outcomes, with fintech/crypto exposure considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years in investment banking, ideally in a TMT or FIG coverage group, with hands-on IPO execution experience.
• Exceptional operator who can structure ambiguous problems, set priorities, and drive outcomes.
• Strong commercial and strategic judgment with the ability to connect initiatives to company objectives.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and coordinating across functions without formal authority.
• Thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments; fintech/crypto exposure is a plus.
• Fintech or crypto exposure is a plus, not required.

1. About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead, Strategy & Corporate Development to work closely with our SVP, Strategy and Investments Development and help drive some of MoonPay’s highest-priority strategic initiatives.

This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role at the intersection of strategy, business operations, and corporate development. You will act as a force multiplier for the SVP, helping translate strategic priorities into clear plans, driving complex initiatives forward, and ensuring alignment and accountability across teams.

You’ll work across a broad range of topics, from supporting strategic transactions and partnerships to improving operating cadence and tackling high-priority projects that don’t sit neatly within a single team. The ideal candidate combines strong strategic judgment with an operator mindset: someone who can move seamlessly from structuring an ambiguous problem to getting into the details required to deliver an outcome.

2. What you will do

• Partner closely with the SVP of Strategy & Investments to translate strategic priorities into clear plans, workstreams, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead high-priority strategic and cross-functional initiatives from definition through execution, bringing structure and momentum to complex or ambiguous problems.
• Support corporate development priorities, including strategic transactions, partnerships, investments, and other opportunities that accelerate MoonPay’s growth.
• Drive alignment across senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, identifying dependencies, resolving blockers, and ensuring critical decisions and actions move forward.
• Build and continuously improve operating cadences, including prioritisation, planning, decision-making processes, and tracking against key objectives.
• Develop high-quality strategic analysis and materials that synthesize complex information, surface key trade-offs, and enable senior leadership to make informed decisions.

3. About You

• You spent 4-5+ years in investment banking, ideally in a TMT or FIG coverage group, and have hands-on experience executing an IPO — you can speak to which specific transaction(s) you ran or supported.
• You are an exceptional operator who can take ambiguous, complex problems, create structure, establish priorities, and drive work through to measurable outcomes.
• You have strong commercial and strategic judgment, with the ability to analyze opportunities, understand trade-offs, and connect individual initiatives to broader company objectives.
• You have experience influencing senior stakeholders and coordinating complex work across multiple functions without relying on formal authority.
• You thrive in fast-moving, high-accountability environments and are equally comfortable developing a strategic recommendation, diving into the details, and ensuring execution happens.
• Prior exposure to fintech or crypto is a big plus, but not required - the banking/IPO pedigree is the priority.
