Job summary

Compass Group USA in Columbus, OH is hiring a kitchen staff member to maintain clean work areas and support food preparation in a fast-paced venue.

You will sweep, mop, operate dishwashing equipment, wash prep surfaces, handle waste, and assist with banquet setups while following safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to maintain sanitation standards.
• Operate large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, trash compactors, and glass crushers.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.
• Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.
• Assist with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.

Summary
