Job summary

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of Prep and Sterile, ensuring cleaning, decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments and supplies; lead and train SPD technicians; maintain quality control and compliance.
Participate in decontamination, inspection, cleaning, assembling and packaging of surgical linens, instrumentation, and supplies.
Understand and operate all sterilization equipment and processes; ensure proper wrapping of instruments and linen; select correct supplies for sterilization.
Collaborate with SPD manager to prioritize duties for quality and efficiency and ensure regulatory adherence.
