Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Manager of Statistical Programming in California to oversee oncology early development programming. You will lead CRO-driven activities, validate analysis datasets, and support in-house studies across a full range of analysis tasks.

The role requires hands-on SAS programming, ADaM data creation per CDISC standards, and development of macros and SOPs while mentoring staff and shaping career growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• MS or BS with significant experience in statistical programming and leadership.
• Proficient SAS programming for drug development and regulatory work.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the statistical programming activities for one or more compounds or indications.
• Manage a team of statistical programmers and plan resources.
• Ensure timely deliverables and adherence to quality processes.
• Develop SAS programs for ADaM datasets per CDISC standards.
• Develop SAS programs for Tables, Listings and Figures.
• Ensure consistency of ADaM datasets across studies.
• Create documentation for regulatory filings and reviews guides.
• Develop standard SAS macros and SOPs; mentor staff and participate in recruitment.
