Job summary

Next Level Technician in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sprinkler Foreman to lead commercial fire protection projects. You will oversee installation, commissioning, and repair of sprinkler systems on a variety of sites, ensuring safety and code compliance.

This role requires 10+ years of experience, proven leadership, and deep knowledge of NFPA 13. You will guide crews, read drawings, coordinate with project managers, and mentor team members on the job site. Competitive hourly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial sprinkler system experience
• Proven experience leading crews as a foreman or lead fitter
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13 and fire protection codes
• Experience installing and troubleshooting wet, dry, and pre-action systems
• Ability to operate tools such as threading machines, roll groovers, drills, test pumps, and pipe wrenches
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and system layouts
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Strong background in system troubleshooting and diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation of commercial fire sprinkler systems including new construction and retrofit projects
• Oversee installation of risers, mains, branch lines, and system components
• Assign tasks and manage daily workflow for fitters and helpers
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
• Ensure all work meets NFPA 13 standards and local code requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems
• Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout procedures, PPE usage, and jobsite safety standards
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to team members
• Coordinate with project managers and leadership to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and professional jobsite standards
