Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Analysts to work on-site at our Tampa, FL location. The role focuses on SIEM (Splunk) integration, threat detection, and security operations using Splunk Enterprise Security.

The position requires DoD TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher, and strong collaboration across IT and security teams. On-site work with 12-hour Panama shifts is described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required and a current DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Must possess DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date.
• Experience with a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams to investigate security incidents and provide insights for improving security posture.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SIEM tools to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Develop Splunk queries and dashboards to provide real-time visibility.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams to strengthen security posture.
