Job summary

Adventist Health White Memorial in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders.

The position requires a Master's degree, state licensure, and a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach; two years of SLP experience are preferred, with emphasis on patient assessments and treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent.

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC preferred.

Job Summary

Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required
• Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
