Point Quest Group is seeking a Special Education Teacher in Coldwater, MI to lead a classroom serving students with diverse learning needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, manage PBIS, supervise paraprofessionals, and partner with families to support academic and social growth.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Special Education strongly preferred.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance where required.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans with accommodations aligned to IEP goals and state standards.
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual student needs.
• Implement and manage PBIS program and track behavior with parent communication.
• Supervise paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom.
• Lead IEP meetings; write updates and maintain compliant documentation.
• Conduct assessments and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with related service providers, families, and outside agencies.
• Support use of assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
