Job summary

Guidepost Montessori in California is seeking a Lead Spanish Guide to lead a mixed-age preschool classroom in a Montessori setting. You’ll nurture concentration, independence, and a love of learning through observation, personalized lessons, and language use.

You’ll foster independence, support each child’s social-emotional growth, and collaborate with families to celebrate progress and guide development in a warm, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Montessori diploma for ages 0-3, or willingness to obtain certification (fully sponsored).
• Experience working with children ages 1.5-3 in a group learning environment.
• Alignment with child-led philosophies such as Montessori.
• ECE or Child Development credits.

Responsibilities

• Observe each child closely to understand and support their development.
• Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom.
• Encourage self-confidence by supporting children to do things themselves.
• Provide individualized and small-group lessons in practical life, literacy, math, and beyond.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
