Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Space Systems Integration Engineer in El Segundo, CA to lead a complex systems acquisition for the Space Combat Power portfolio in support of the US Space Force. You will integrate space, ground, and mission segments and apply advanced engineering to shape and deliver capabilities.

The role emphasizes program planning, risk mitigation, technical oversight, and execution, collaborating with Government, FFRDC, SETA, and contractor personnel while leveraging acquisition

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 14+ years experience or Master's with 12+ years experience.
• Experience leading systems engineering teams for complex space/ground integrations.
• Proficiency with space systems, spacecraft interfaces, and program integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead interface engineers for payload to spacecraft interface development and integration.
• Evaluate designs, models, integration and test plans with development contractors.
• Oversee payload integration and manage interface control with stakeholders.
• Perform system integration of ground segment and deployment into operations; develop CONOPS.
