Job summary

IonQ, Inc. in Louisville, CO, seeks an experienced Manager for Component Test & Infrastructure to lead verification activities and build out test infrastructure for spacecraft production.

You will guide a team across electronic assemblies, RF hardware, and subsystems, ensuring readiness for integration and scalable testing. You will own automated test systems, GSE, and representative test beds; collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Spacecraft Test to deliver reliable test

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • 8+ years in engineering roles; aerospace/defense or electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience leading test programs for hardware verification and acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead component test, RF test, and test automation engineers for spacecraft production.
  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and verification for electronic assemblies and subsystems.
  • Own GSE, test beds, flatsats, and hardware simulators for risk reduction and integration.
  • Drive root-cause analysis for test failures and improve testability and verification coverage.
  • Maintain test software and automation frameworks; manage calibration programs and infrastructure.
