Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Solutions Architect to join their Global Design & Estimating Team. In this role, you will supervise a group of Solutions Architects and Estimators focusing on the Utilities Vertical. You will provide technical leadership and develop system designs for large-scale projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7-9 years of experience in electronic physical security and a college degree or equivalent. A competitive salary and various benefits including medical, dental, and a 401K plan are offered.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience in design consulting, system design, system commissioning, estimating, project management, and/or installation for complex and large-scale electronic physical security projects.
• Expertise in access control, CCTV, and physical security systems focusing on large-scale enterprise, multi-site, and complex projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for specialized environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Estimators.
• Guide the team in developing system designs, solutions, estimates, and proposal strategies for large-scale enterprise and data center opportunities.
• Ensure consistency and quality across solution designs, scopes of work, and estimates.
