Job summary

PNC is seeking a Lead Solutions Architect for the Office of the CTO, reporting to the CIO. This enterprise infrastructure director role is based in Pittsburgh or other listed cities and focuses on defining CTO services and guiding architecture strategy across platforms.

The candidate will manage a team of solution architects, push an 'as code' architecture approach, and ensure CTO services meet application needs while aligning with enterprise risk and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree and higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications.
• Industry -relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform and infrastructure engineering teams to define solutions for technology product in the infrastructure and platform services departments
• Partner with software application engineering teams to understand how the architecture solutions offered by the Office of the CTO can be of use by application teams
• Lead a set of solution architects and curate the profession
• Transform the architecture team into an "as code" approach - moving from authoring architecture in drawing tools (such as PowerPoint) into a domain specific language approach (such as LikeC4)
• Own the architecture target state for all Office of the CTO services
