Job summary

Deloitte’s AI & Engineering practice is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to design, build, and scale AI-enabled platforms across software, data, and cloud environments in the United States.

You will lead architecture efforts for enterprise engagements, guide teams through Bedrock/Claude integrations, and drive modernization, governance, and secure deployment of AI capabilities while coordinating with stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics.
• 8+ years of software engineering, application architecture, or solution architecture experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams, projects, or workstreams for enterprise technology implementations.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS, including Bedrock, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, or container-based services.
• Experience architecting generative artificial intelligence solutions using large language models, prompt orchestration, retrieval‑augmented generation, vector databases, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

In this role, you will help clients modernize platforms, accelerate digital innovation, and unlock value through engineering-led transformation across software, data, artificial intelligence, networks, and hybrid cloud.   The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $141,200 to $278,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
