Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities at utility-scale solar sites. You will manage a team of Commissioning Technicians and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety, quality, and timely startup.

The role requires strong electrical testing, contract review, and field leadership, with up to 50% travel and a salary range of $100k–$150k per year. DEPCOM is part of Koch Engineered Solutions and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field personnel in commissioning or construction.
• Experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review contracts, subcontracts, and drawings.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train Commissioning Technicians under Principle-Based Management.
• Oversee commissioning scopes across multiple projects, develop site plans and start-up procedures.
• Review contracts and drawings to ensure deliverables meet requisites and align with internal standards.
• Enforce DEPCOM Power Safety Procedures and Protocols.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and customers, including LOTO training.
• Prepare project-start plans for receiving, storing, and managing materials and tools.
• Maintain commissioning logs, equipment checklists, and LOTO logs.
• Coordinate energization, start-up, and troubleshooting of substations and field equipment.
• Travel up to 50% to project sites.
