K2Spacecorporation is looking for an experienced professional to lead the design and production of high-power solar arrays for space applications. This role is vital for achieving K2's vision of deploying solar arrays across MEO, GEO, and deep space. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in solar array design and development.

This position offers a base salary range of $175,000 to $200,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, fostering a collaborative environment for groundbreaking space technology.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the design, manufacture, and test of solar arrays for space applications.
• Experience with solar array systems architecting for space applications.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of solar array electrical and mechanical architecture.
• Development of electrical performance degradation characterization.
• Definition and execution of assembly-level testing.
• Collaboration with avionics, structures, and software teams.
• Lead design reviews and own system deliverables.
• Responsible for manufacturing equipment selection.
• Partner with production to develop work instructions.
