Job summary

Garmin seeks a Team Leader Software Engineering in Chandler, AZ to direct a software team delivering aviation software. You will guide requirements, design reviews, and development plans in alignment with Garmin practices, while coaching engineers and guiding progress to milestones.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and hands-on work with .NET Core and iOS platforms. A minimum 5+ years of leadership and a Bachelor’s degree are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years or 10+ years of relevant software leadership experience.
Strong communication, organization, and prioritization in fast-paced environments.
Proven ability to lead a team of at least 5 engineers and deliver on milestones.

Responsibilities

Direct and coordinate activities of a Software Engineering team for aviation software products.
Contribute to requirements, design reviews, and development plans aligned to Garmin practices.
Coach, mentor and recruit team members; ensure milestones and delivery schedule adherence.
